View from my hotel window

Great view of part of Holyrood Park, an urban park where everyone in Edinburgh goes to hike/walk/exercise their dogs.

In a closer shot, you can see Salisbury Crags, the gnarly rock outcropping, and Arthur's Seat, the round bump that is the highest point in the area. It is an extinct volcano, and farther away than the Crags, though it looks like it is right on top of them. I hope to be right on top of it tomorrow or the next day.

In an even closer shot, I can see a guy across the way playing an accordian in his window. Posted by Picasa
