What a great day to go to the beach. I headed from Holyrood Park straight out Portobella Road to, you guessed it, Portobello. There is a mile long beach there, and a promenade along the beach front.
Had I not been out to take photos and cheer on G, I would have settled in across the street at The Forth View.
They had a really nice patio area, on which to sit
and drink pints while watching the sunbeat runners push through in the now 25 degree (celsius) heat.
