Next door to 1360 Montgomery

So there is this relatively new house that's gone up next door to 1360. The architecture is more modern.



But check this out: the entryway is totally a homage to the aquatic deco design of 1360 next door! I was so surprised to see this, in light of the design of the rest of the building.


And, there is a place for rent here! Hmmmm, if I lived here, I could look out on 1360 Montgomery . . .









The rent is similar to Manhattan (click to enlarge and read sign), but I think there is more value here, given the view of the bay from this location. And of coure, Filbert Steps and 1360 close-by. Now that I think about it, its underpriced.
