Fame Becomes Me

Illegal photos from Martin Short's Broadway retrospective parody. Cameraphone photos in the dark, so you'll have to use your imagination. Above is the opening curtain.

Martin Short flying down from heaven. He is actually hanging midair in a Peter Panesque pose.

My favorite embodiment, Martin as Ed Grimley, one of his Saturday Night Live characters, was far too short.

Here he sits and sings atop the piano, which is played by one of the show's book writers. We were quite impressed by Martin Short's voice, which is amazingly strong, but often overshadowed by his humorous lyrics.

I failed to get a photo of Martin's celebrity guest this night, which was Gilbert Gottfried. He was hilarious in his spontaneous talk show style interview with Jiminy Glick, gettting huge roars of laughter with his quick comebacks.
