The contrasts of Ground Zero

Here is Fitterman Hall, damaged on 9/11, still standing, still reminding. It is on Vesey, next to Ground Zero . . .

and also next to the beautiful new World Trade Center 7. This is the entrance, with flowers, trees, a nice courtyard, and a scrolling word banner peeking through the trees.

The two could not be more different, or elicit more contrasting feelings.
