Filbert Steps

Here is a glimpse of what I love about the Filbert Steps, coming down from the Coit Tower on the bayside.

The gardens are so vibrant, wild, and yet well-kept. Everything seems to thrive here, and no matter whay time of year you come here, there is always something blooming.

There are street signs here, but no streets. Just lots of steps.
I always assume there are community gardens mixed in here, taken care of by a mix of residents and admirers. So much work must go into maintaining all this loveliness, but it is truly worth it. Posted by Picasa

That looks beautiful! What a lush place to live, and yet still have the conveniences of city living.
