Hanger Art

This was one of the entries in Project Dumbo, the contest for lobby art to hang in jCondo in DUMBO, Brooklyn. It was very creative, and my favorite, but not voted in by the rest of the soon-to-be residents.

Yeah! We got to see our new condo-in-progress briefly on Monday, March 19th.

Here is the deck where we'll enjoy afternoon sun. A bit smaller than the previously posted community deck on the same floor, but what a view!

Northside Piers: Williamsburg River Front

Northside Piers, on the East River in Williamsburg, is going up fast (click on link to Curbed in title).

It fills up quite a bit of the sky.

Especially from my rooftop, where it has vanquished most of the previously glorious view of the Financial District:(

High Wire Act

I'm used to seeing pairs of tennis and other assorted shoes strung over electrical wires here in Williamsburg, but this is a new one.

It looks as though someone has created these connected figures with the sole purpose of upstaging the shoe strings.

This begs the question, what could you do with a Barrel o' Monkeys? Is there any way you could sling them over a high wire?
