Checking in on the koi (or carp or whatever they are) in the waterfront pond by the World Financial Center and Mercantile Exchange.The ice on the pond has recently thawed, and I am happy to see many of the fish have survived. I counted 20 in total.
What a wide variety of colors and markings. There are the typical orange, many white, grey and silvery ones, and a couple lemony yellow fish.
