Water Taxi Beach L.I.C.

The manmade beach in Long Island City. I posted pics from here on opening weekend this summer, Memorial Day, when it was filled with eager sunners.

It will fill up again today I`m sure, but it is closing soon for the winter. These pics were taken around noon. Great spot for beach volleyball, with Manhatan skyline in background.





They have one palm tree, which like the beach, is manmade also. This is so fitting. If you are going to go fake, go really fake.
