Four Seasons Hotel Houston

Somewhere in this photo, I think just in front (toward the camera) of the tall black building, is the Four Seasons.
The rooms are very nice, even with a king size bed, there is room to roam.

Huge wraparound windows with a long view, but they are always keeping the curtains drawn here. I guess because of the heat.

Not exzctly contemporary decor, but it all functions very well.

The bathroom has just as much space as the main room. You could do a kickboxing class in here.

Art Deco Touches

In the very modern downtown corridor of Houston, there are few interesting old buildings, but here and there you find some nice Art Deco touches.

Houston Metro: Light Rail Trolley

Cool water fountain that actually sprays over the trolley when the timing is just right, otherwise, they just throw up a bit of spray as they go through the standing water. Its at the Main Street Station right downtown.
Here comes one now, of course, the fountain is in between sprays.

The all day pass is only $2 and is well worth it. It runs 7.5 miles, from downtown, out to Midtown, the Museum District, Rice University/Herman Park, and on out to Reliant Park where the stadiums are. The machines are intuitive and very easy to use. Its a great system.

Brilliant! A Little Sun in Winter

A little sun on a cold winters day. "Brilliant" is a surf and sun oriented collection, soaked in orange latex.

Jack the Pelican: March Exhibit

This piece here is very cool, but the trunks on the wall (not shown), looked to be a bit uncomfortable.

Visiting New Haven

We took the big dog to New Haven.

While we were there, we checked out the town square, a great wide open park right in the middle of town.

All of the old civic building that were built around it in the 1800's are still there, very well preserved, so that it gives you the feel of the days when horses were pulling carriages up to the City Hall or the old chruch.

Graffiti Building L.I.C.

Snapped this quick shot while driving by. Many different artists have plied their trade on this building. Colors and characters abound.

Bathroom video

Bathroom video at SEA, the very pop Thai restaurant in Williamsburg. The camera vantage points rotate which is handy for spying on your mates/dates back at the table, or watching for your fellow diners to arrive.

Michelin rubber walls

Brilliant idea. Michelin rubber walls, for those times when you are bouncing of them. This comes in square foot tiles, so it would be very easy to do.
